Some embroidery projects guide every stitch.
100 Ladies® is a printed embroidery fabric designed to let every stitcher become the designer.
Printed across the fabric are one hundred illustrated figures, each waiting to become someone entirely new.
Their clothes, colors, and stories are yours to imagine.
It feels a little like a coloring book—only your pencil is a needle, and your colors are embroidery thread.
One Hundred Figures, One Hundred Possibilities
100 Ladies® is an embroidery fabric series created in collaboration with textile artist Kazue Nakajima and produced by LECIEN.
Its name reflects the idea behind the collection: one hundred illustrated ladies, and many ways to bring them to life.
Look closely and you'll find figures with different poses, hairstyles, and expressions. Each is approximately 5 cm (2 in.) tall—small enough to finish quickly, yet open to endless creativity.
Rather than prescribing colors or decorative details, the printed outlines leave the creative decisions to the maker.
Every finished figure becomes uniquely yours.

Dress Them Your Way
The joy of 100 Ladies® comes from designing each character.
Choose colors, create patterned clothing, and add appliqué, beads, lace, ribbon, or fabric pens.
There is no single correct combination.
Every stitch adds personality.
Because the printed outlines are simple and open-ended, even basic embroidery stitches can completely transform each figure.

Perfect for Beginners—Rewarding for Experienced Stitchers
100 Ladies® grows with you.
Beginners can complete a single figure using only a few basic stitches, while experienced makers can continue exploring new color palettes, textures, and techniques.
With more than 500 colors available in COSMO® No. 25 Embroidery Floss, subtle differences in clothing, hair, accessories, and shading become part of each character's story.
The fabric encourages creativity without demanding perfection.
From Fabric to Everyday Projects
Once your ladies are stitched, the possibilities continue.
Display the full fabric as wall art, or transform individual figures into charms, gift tags, patches, pouches, bags, notebook covers, and other handmade accessories.
Project kits and pre-sewn items make it easy to explore the series in different ways—whether creating your first embroidery piece or adding a personal touch to something you use every day.

A Fabric That Celebrates Individual Creativity
Every maker begins with the same fabric.
Every finished piece becomes one of a kind.
Like fashion itself, embroidery becomes a form of personal expression.
One fabric.
One hundred figures.
Countless stories.
Pick up a needle, choose your colors, and begin creating your own.
